Debunking the Myth that "Wine People" Are Not "Data People"

Time and time again, I was told that this would be the biggest obstacle I'd run up against: That "wine people" are not "data people."

And that wine people don't have time to look at data, and they won't know what to do with it, and we'd have a hard time convincing people to even open the software.

By this point, a few years into it, I can say with confidence that it's time to rethink that way of thinking, and that it's an old-school tradition that is no longer in service to the industry.

It's time to debunk the myth.

Today I'd like to shine the spotlight onto "wine people" who have become "data people," who themselves are debunking the myth and proving it wrong.

These are the wine people who start from square one, and who join our Beginner classes, and who work through the on-demand educational videos, and who ask lots of questions.

They're the ones transforming from "wine people" to "wine + data people," and we're seeing them more and more.

Happily and gratefully so.

It's a growing community, with lots of support - these on-demand videos, for example, and this sample Master Class for Beginners.

Can we get you looped into the community as well? I hope so. Easy places to start are with a list of customers at risk of leaving your wine club, and also our 30-day free trial.

Most of all, I want you to know that you are not on this journey alone. There are more of us now than ever before. Please be in touch, and start debunking the myth for yourself.

Thank you, as always, for reading -
Cathy
