What has Q2 brought the wine industry when it comes to DTC?

Here are a few highlights:

  • Q2, and the timeliness of these reports, give us an exceptional opportunity to explore of-the-moment trends like the sale of rosé wine, which in the northern hemisphere is a distinctly Q2 occurrence.

  • We put Q2 in context with the rest of the year, of course, and we also isolate quarterly performance relative to the same quarterly performance in previous years. In 2022, that’s meant a comparative look at Tasting Room sales in particular as visitors return — or not — during the spring/early summer season of April, May and June.
