Finally, a DTC Action Plan You Can Sink Your Teeth Into

"Enough with the hand-wringing already."

That's the thought that came to mind last week, when Michelle and I demo'd the software to a new potential customer. We were using her own DTC data to show her a series of selling opportunities that she and her marketing director could execute immediately.

"There's so much information here!" she said.

Yes, we said. There's so much of YOUR own information.

"Now I see all the things that I can do with it..."

Exactly, we said.

"I'd rather have all of these options, than worry about not knowing what to do next."

Bingo, I thought. That sentiment - exactly that sentiment - is why that particular winery and others like them are going to pull ahead even with the economic challenges we're facing.

They're leaning into the challenge.

They're taking action to see and learn something new, which happens to be built on something (their own data) that has been there all along.

They aren't sitting on their hands, woe-is-me style. They aren't wringing their hands either.

They are getting busy, and they are winning.
