New SNAPSHOT Available Now from Enolytics
March surprised us.
I don't say that lightly. But the latest Enolytics SNAPSHOT — reporting on the month of March 2026 — arrived with something we haven't seen in a while.
Net Sales Wine was up 2.3% year-over-year.
Go ahead. Read that again.
After quarter after quarter of flat-to-negative performance in DTC, March delivered one of the stronger months we've tracked.
And the really interesting part?
It happened even as Orders declined 2.7%. The industry grew revenue while selling to fewer transactions — which tells you something meaningful about pricing discipline and the value of strong customer relationships.
But here's where I want us to be thoughtful.
March's strength hasn't fully reversed the broader trend yet. Year-to-Date Net Sales Wine is just +0.2%.
And Tasters — the visitors walking through your tasting room door — fell 4.2% in March, actually accelerating from the Year-to-Date decline.
Since roughly 90% of wine club signups come from tasting room visits, that number deserves your attention.
The good news is that Last 12 Months metrics are moving in the right direction across the board. Purchasers Last 12 Months improved significantly, suggesting that the customer base erosion we saw in late 2025 may be stabilizing.
One month doesn't make a trend. But we'll take it.
