Summer is here and the livin’ is easy!

Just kidding.

It’s been a busy few weeks, and we’re excited to share some news with you in pretty much any format you prefer. Given your enthusiastic response to our last post about where to start with wine + data, we’re happy to put more resources in front of you that are relatable, simple to access and easy to understand.

Here’s where to slide right in…

Do you like your news in text? Check out this incredibly thorough piece by Valerie Kathawala writing for SevenFifty Daily, on the power of data-driven decision making in the wine industry. These are the people of our community — colleagues, partners, clients, friends. We are thrilled to see them, and this topic, gaining traction and attention. It’s significant, also, that every single source cited in this piece is female, which is a topic we’ve covered here in Enolytics 101 in the past.

Do you prefer your news via podcast? Please tune in to this fun episode hosted by Steve Raye for the Italian Wine Podcast. Steve is a gracious and generous host, he’s well-prepared and informed, and he loves a good laugh. I’m not even upset with him for misspelling my last name :-) I’m happy to see this podcast series doing so well, which is testament the hosts, expert editing and a warm appreciation for all things Italian wine.

Maybe you prefer to join webinars live and “in person”? That’s coming up on Monday when Andrea Smalling, Chief Marketing Officer at WineDirect, and I will be presenting the Canadian “slice” of DTC data at the Canadian Wine Growers Symposium and Awards. More information is here, and we’d be psyched to see you there.

Read up. Tune in. Join the conversation on wine + data. We’re here for it, and we’re happy you are too.

Please be in touch, as always, with any questions or ideas or suggestions etc.

Thank you,

Cathy
